This saw has PLENTY of power. I am a master electrician and have the Bosch 36V tools. I was very skeptical of the 12V tools but am planning on adding to this set. This is small, light and practical. You won't be sorry. I made 20 cuts on a piece of 1/2 emt for a test. I thought I would send it back if it failed. Not so, it shined with power to spare. I will say the saw must be at full speed before trying to make the cut. Do not have the blade on the conduit then pull the trigger. It will not work.

By Andrew J. Badertscher
Bosch has come up with a very well made mini sawzall. This is the exact same saw as Milwaukee. This saw is fantastic for small project of for really tight areas where you can't get a 18v tool into. However the tool really lacks the power to do anything quickly or anything large. Thin wall conduit, copper pipe, or PVC is the most this thing is going to cut thru.

By Atiletdown:(
This little saw works really well and fits in some tight places. As with most 12 volt tools the battery life could use improvement but it is a compact/light weight tool. Power meter on the saw doesn't really help you know when it needs to be recharged. Battery dies with no warning but charges up quickly. This tool comes with me on every job just don't expect miracles from it and you will be pleased. I would definitely buy this tool again.
